Vine is a service for uploading short videos up to six second long. The service enables users to record and edit the videos, before publishing them on Vine and sharing on other social networks.
Vine is an app that allows quick and easy video sharing. The company was founded in June 2012, but it was acquired by Twitter after couple of months, during the same year, before the service was officially launched.
The service is primarily focused on the app, which allows recording and editing short videos, but in 2014 a desktop version of Vine has been introduced in order to enable users to explore the videos through their computers.
Additional functions of the app include grid and ghost image tools for camera, the possibility to curate channels, “revine” option which shares a video on someone’s stream, the number of views for each video, etc.
* In order to provide the Vine service and the ability to communicate and stay connected with others, there are some limitations on the type of content that can be published with Vine.

Profile URL Squatting
In order to create Vine account, you will need to download the app and then choose between these two options.
– Sign in with Twitter
– Sign up with email
After you have created an account within the app, you can access this account using the app or you can use desktop version to browse videos.
After the account is created, you can add a profile photo and choose a username. Choosing a username is very easy, as you can choose any username you want. It does not have to be a unique username. Choose and change your username any time you want from the Profile settings.
Since Vine account is connected with your Twitter account, you can find people by going through the contacts you already have on this network. You can also use the search to find new people and then invite them with a text message or an email.
Go to the Vine app in order to create a six-second long video. After you have finished recording, you will see a preview of the video. If the video is fine, tap on checkmark to post it. If you want to change something in the video, tap on “Edit” and you will be able to rearrange and cut clips.
Instead of immediately publishing, videos can be save for later, which allows you to work with several videos simultaneously.
If you create a video with Vine app, but you do not click publish, the video will only be visible from your device, in the video library.
